Thousands of users are losing service as the mobile network goes down.

As Downdetector, which monitors the health of websites and networks, receives thousands of reports from users without service across the country, it appears that the Three mobile network has ‘gone out.’

Thousands of consumers have complained that Three’s network is down, causing communication problems across the country.

Since roughly 5 a.m. this morning, Downdetector has received thousands of reports from consumers who have lost mobile service.

Around 1,500 customers had reported problems by 8.45 a.m.

Three issued a statement this morning acknowledging the problem.

“Please accept our apologies if you have been impacted by this; our engineers are working diligently to resolve the issue,” the business stated.

Over the last week and a half, huge global disruptions for social media giants Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Snapchat have occurred.

Snapchat, the picture-sharing app, recently experienced a nearly four-hour outage, preventing unhappy users from sending and receiving photographs.

And, just over a week ago, all Facebook-owned applications fell down for over seven hours, the company’s worst outage ever.

On October 4, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Facebook Messenger all fell down in dramatic fashion.

Mark Zuckerberg’s firm admitted responsibility, alleging that a defective upgrade had removed Facebook’s servers from the internet, bringing all of the company’s services to a halt.

Customers have taken to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with the mobile behemoth.

“@ThreeUK,” one user tweeted. What’s up, I can’t make or receive phone calls. Using traditional techniques or dialing over WiFi.” “Any idea how long it will be before full service resumes?” wrote another. I’m unable to make or receive phone calls or texts. Only iMessage is available to our entire family.” “All of our phone [sic]on the Three network are not able to make or receive calls,” a third said.

“I can’t contact assistance via live chat, and I can’t phone three support numbers from another network.”
