This weekend was supposed to be the release date for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

There was a time in the timeline when Spider-Man: No Way Home was supposed to be released on November 5th, as in this past Friday, the date given to Marvel’s Eternals.

Originally scheduled for July release, the film was pushed back to November 5th, just a month after the COVID pandemic last year.

Fast forward to July, and Sony has once again postponed the film, this time to December 17th.

Regardless, thanks to some viral tweets about the film’s release on November 5th, fans are now joking about having seen it.

Despite the studio delaying the film a couple of weeks in some international markets, Sony is expected to release the film on December 17th.
