THIS WEEK IN THE NINTENDO DIRECT: Splatoon 3, Metroid Dread, and the final Super Smash Bros DLC character
Owners of the Nintendo Switch should tune in to this week’s highly anticipated Direct presentation, which will focus on Metroid Dread.
The upcoming Nintendo Direct is expected to contain Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Splatoon 3, and Metroid Dread, among other games.
A fresh Nintendo Direct is expected to air this week, most likely on September 16.
Nintendo Direct conferences usually start at around 2 p.m. BST, so look for an official announcement later today.
The upcoming Nintendo Direct, according to Nintendo source Samus Hunter, would focus on games like Metroid Dread, Smash Bros, Splatoon 3, and the role-playing game Project Triangle Strategy.
Fans can also expect to learn more about the Nintendo Switch OLED Model, which will be released soon.
Unfortunately, Nintendo is unlikely to show off upcoming games like Breath of the Wild 2, which is expected to debut at The Game Awards instead.
Metroid Dread appears to be a foregone conclusion, especially since the game is set to release in just a few weeks.
Metroid Dread, which will be released on October 8, is a direct sequel to Metroid Fusion on the Game Boy Advance.
Samus explores the planet ZDR, which is rumored to be home to the deadly X Parasite.
“On a distant alien planet, a mechanical menace lurks, ready to test even the galaxy’s best bounty hunter.
“In Metroid Dread for Nintendo Switch, join Samus Aran on her darkest 2D adventure yet.
“To complete Samus’ quest, you must make your way through the depths of a vast planet filled with varied environments, deadly danger, and unfathomable secrets.
“Traverse these labyrinths using new and familiar powers, check the map to locate your way, and dispatch hostile adversaries in your path using formidable weapons.”
Fans are eager for Nintendo to release the final downloadable character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
The last character, according to Samus Hunter, will be a third-party name, ruling out WaLuigi.
According to previous speculations, the final character may be Sora from Kingdom Hearts, Crash Bandicoot, Doom’s Doomguy, or Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden.
Tekken’s Kazuya is the most recent downloadable character, following the likes of Sephiroth, Min Min and Steve from Minecraft.
Terry Bogard, a staple of Fatal Fury, as well as Joker from the Persona series, Hero from multiple Dragon Quest titles, and Banjo, will all debut as part of the Fighters Pass. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
