‘There’s no need for it.’ Bradley Walsh of The Chase chastises Shaun Wallace for a participant remark.

After Shaun Wallace, commonly known as “The Dark Destroyer,” ridiculed a contestant’s performance in the cash builder, THE CHASE host Bradley Walsh stepped in to defend her.

Shelagh was the first to confront The Chaser when she appeared on Friday’s episode of Bradley Walsh’s hit ITV quiz show. Shaun Wallace, the Dark Destroyer, was quick to suggest she wouldn’t stay long when she won £4,000 on the cash building round, but Bradley, 61, reprimanded Wallace for his statement, saying there was “no need” for it.

As Bradley chatted with Shelagh before of the cash builder, she admitted she was scared to be the first up.

“What would you do with some money today if you won it?” he inquired.

“Well, I saw this three-carat diamond at a nice boutique in Manchester, so I quite fancy that on my finger,” Shelagh responded after some thought.

“Well, good luck with that,” Bradley said, staring at the 64-year-old.

“Really?” he continued. Is Roger aware of this?” “Who is Roger?” Shelagh inquired.

Bradley had already been informed that her husband’s name was Martin, and he attempted to brush off the gaffe.

“I’m not sure,” he replied. “What is the name of your husband?”

“Martin!” Shelagh burst out laughing. “Well, what does Martin have to say about it?” he persisted.

Although Football did not return home on Sunday, one that did is my Weekly Facebook Live quiz, which returns tonight at 20:30 on my official Facebook page @TheShaunWallace. I’m looking forward to seeing familiar and new faces, and I hope you have a great day! pic.twitter.com/ZsZnnEqJYj

“He’s just getting over his fear of having to buy it himself,” the dance teacher said with a smile.

She went on to properly answer four questions, securing £4,000 if she could beat the Chaser.

When it was established that this was Shaun, he said, “Hello Shelagh.” Diamonds last a lifetime, but you’ll only be here for five.”

“There’s no need for that,” Bradley said, making a pudgy face.

Despite a strong showing, Shelagh was unable to outrun the Chaser and was eventually caught by Shaun.

This meant she only had three contestants to choose from for her teammates.

Norman, Daniel, and Holly were left to face Shaun in the Final Chase with the hopes of defeating him.

Holly, on the other hand, did not make it past the first round and had to leave. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
