‘There’s no need!’ After a sly swipe from Darragh Ennis of The Chase, Bradley Walsh retaliates.
BRADLEY WALSH retaliated against Darragh Ennis during Tuesday’s blockbuster episode of The Chase after the ITV quiz show host made a dig at him.
Bradley Walsh welcomed four new participants to The Chase on Tuesday’s episode, as they attempted to take on The Chaser. Gemma, Elizabeth, Sydney, and Eden had to work together as they competed against Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis for the most money for their cash fund. Darragh, on the other hand, couldn’t help but poke fun at the ITV host during one round.
The first candidate up was Gemma, who won a potential £4,000 cash prize for their cash fund.
As she faced Darragh, he made her a modest offer of £1,000 or a greater offer of £30,000.
Gemma, though, opted to play it safe and accept the £4,000 offer after consulting with her teammates.
Gemma, on the other hand, didn’t get off to the best of starts, as she got the first two questions wrong.
Darragh promptly eliminated the candidate when she only managed to answer one question properly in the end.
Elizabeth came up next, and she sailed through the quick-fire questions to earn $5,000.
When she took on The Chaser, however, Elizabeth’s luck ran out, and she was caught and sent home.
After that, it was up to Sydney and Eden to take on Darragh in the final round.
In the quick-fire question round, Sydney, a retired coal miner, answered six questions correctly.
When Bradley asked the participant what he planned to do with the money if he won it, the elderly took a piece of paper from his pocket and cracked a few jokes.
“My wife and I enjoy visiting Torquay,” Sydney explained. “I’d want to relocate down there, but I believe she would insist on accompanying me.”
The presenter was so amused by Sydney’s jokes that he put his head in his palms.
Darragh couldn’t help but make light of Bradley’s joke-telling when it was Sydney’s turn to face The Chaser.
“Hello Sydney, do you know what, it is so refreshing to finally have someone on the show who can crack jokes,” he added, turning to Sydney.
Bradley, on the other hand, didn’t seem impressed, retorting, “Let’s deposit some money.”Brinkwire Summary News.”
