The return of Meghan McCain to “The View” as she clashed with co-host Joy Behar, has already set off fireworks. Some fans had already expressed their displeasure at the ABC talk show having the conservative star back. However, it came as a surprise to all when, after an intense argument, McCain’s co-host Behar said live on air that she didn’t miss her on the program.
Why is there a feud between Joy Behar and Meghan McCain?
In the first live episode of 2021, which aired Monday, Jan. 4, McCain returned to The View.
On the first day of the show, everything was roses and diamonds, with all the ladies listening to the passion of McCain in the battle for maternity leave. Peace did not rule, however, for too long, as the “Hot Topics” really heated up the next day.
When she said that the Republican Party is in ‘a lot more trouble’ right now than the Democratic Party, Behar called out McCain’s anger. McCain flew into a rage because she campaigned for her favorite party, which Donald Trump is currently leading.
“Are you kidding me?” McCain interrupted Behar, denying the latter by going on a tirade.
“Excuse me, I’m not done yet.”Excuse me, I’m not done yet.
McCain then sarcastically says, “Joy, you missed me so much when I was on maternity leave. You missed arguing with me.”
McCain’s sarcasm did not translate well over the Zoom call, however, and Behar dropped a bomb of reality.
Behar responded, “I didn’t. I didn’t miss you. Zero,” as Whoopi Goldberg attempted to step in and break up the feud.
“You know what? That’s so evil,”You know what? That is so evil. “That’s like so evil, I was teasing. Like really? That’s so rude.”

Some fans are not pleased about Meghan McCain’s return.
Fans responded on social media ahead of Meghan McCain’s return to the show following her maternity leave. Not all viewers of “The View” were pleased about the conservative co-host returning to the political discussion.
One viewer replied, “Please don’t come back to The View, I enjoy meaningful, adult conversations, not spoiled entitled brats whining and crying,”
“I’ll be back on January 4.”On January 4, I will be back.

“I appreciate this lovely sentiment,” McCain tweeted along with a message from a fan who missed her on the talk show. “I will be back on ‘The View’ when the season returns in January after New Year’s.
I appreciate those who miss me. I love my job, but I’ve also really enjoyed this time with my daughter Liberty and think maternity leave is a gift.”
