A DOG who grew enthralled with the Olympic horse dressage competition on television has gone viral on social media.

Willow, a Golden Retriever, is shown sitting in front of the TV, watching the 2020 Tokyo Olympics equestrian competition. The young dog rapidly catches up the dancing style by raising her paw to the screen, exactly like the horses do in the popular athletic event.

The video was published to TikTok and received over 200,000 views in less than 24 hours; however, Willow wasn’t the only one who seemed to enjoy the Olympics.

“Is this a Golden thing?” one user wondered. “My lurcher Daisy is frightened of horses but loves any of the Olympic games that involve a ball,” remarked another. I was taken aback! ” Team GB dominated the equestrian sports at this year’s Summer Olympics, winning gold in team eventing and silver in individual eventing.

Charlotte Durjardin won two bronze medals in the team and individual dressages, giving her a total of five medals as the most decorated British female Olympian.

If you can’t get enough of the equestrian activities, the individual jumping finals will take place tomorrow, while the team jumping final will take place on August 7.
