The TLC 2021 Pay-Per-View has reportedly been canceled by WWE.

According to a recent rumor from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE’s forthcoming pay-per-view schedule has been modified. WWE had planned to complete 2021 with a TLC pay-per-view on Dec. 19, following Crown Jewel on Oct. 21 and Survivor Series at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn (reportedly set for Chicago). That program has since been scrapped, and WWE will instead focus on the WWE Day 1 event at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta on New Year’s Day.

“Originally, there was going to be a pay-per-view in Chicago at the Allstate Arena in mid-December, but the belief now is that doing 12 a year is the best way to go, so the December pay-per-view will be on January 1 in Atlanta. The decision to start on January 1 rather than in mid-late December was a good one. The Royal Rumble will still be held in January as a pay-per-view event “According to Metlzer (via WrestleTalk). “When the December Chicago date was changed from a pay-per-view to a television tape, a lot of people wondered who would get the pay-per-view. The answer is that there isn’t a pay-per-view option.” The WWE has been contacted for comment by ComicBook. Stay tuned for further information. This narrative is still unfolding…
