ERIN Boag, Strictly Come Dancing’s Queen of the Ballroom, gives us expert predictions and the inside scoop on the nation’s favourite show.

THE eliminations have started and the nerves are showing. Tonight is Movie Week, which means full-on costumes and make-up. I’ll never forget the Movie Week when my dance partner Julian Clary insisted on doing my make-up. All went well until he drew on my eyebrows – I looked like a drag queen! I laughed so hard I cried, and they were never seen again. Enough about costumes, what about the dancers? Sara Davies deservedly shot from the bottom to the top of the leaderboard last week with her elegant, smooth foxtrot but I think she’ll struggle with this week’s samba. I hope she proves me wrong.

Fellow top scorer Tilly Ramsay’s energetic Charleston reduced dad Gordon to tears. She’ll find the jive is tougher, but she’s a quick learner and will do well.

Judi Love should be crowned Rear of the Year after that inaugural Strictly twerk! OK, it had nothing to do with samba, which upset some people, but her animation was amazing. She’ll shine in tonight’s Charleston.

Dan Walker’s gladiator matador lacked shape but had power. Can he hold his long limbs for the foxtrot? We’ll see.

I love Rhys Stephenson. His cha-cha-cha was a little robotic but this week’s couples choice will allow him to show his inner soul.

Adam Peaty has rumba, the dance of love, so needs to loosen those hips. His quickstep looked over-choreographed to me. No wonder he looked deflated.

Greg Wise did his late sister proud with a moving disco tribute featuring lifts. But he has yet to dance proper ballroom so I anticipate cracks in tonight’s paso doble.

John Whaite is strong, powerful and has presence, with incredible armography and timing. His paso doble will see him on top.

We’ll see more style and sophistication from AJ Odudu in the American smooth. Her foxtrot was graceful and smooth as silk.

Robert Webb played his tango straight with a good frame and staccato movement. But now he’ll need a spring in his quickstep to fly across the room.

Rose Ayling-Ellis’s foxtrot had incredible hip movement and impeccable timing. Her foxtrot will ooze class and sophistication.

Ugo Monye was light on his feet in the quickstep with a strong frame. But the stakes. “Brinkwire Summary News”.
