The marriage of a ‘Dancing With the Stars’ pro is officially over.

Gleb Savchenko, a pro on Dancing With the Stars, and Elena Samodanova’s relationship is officially over. According to Us Weekly, the couple’s divorce was finalized in October 2021. Samodanova first filed for divorce in December 2020, just a few months after the couple declared their separation. Olivia and Zlata, the professional dancers’ two children, live with them.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, a divorce decision was signed on Oct. 22. Savchenko and Samodanova did not solicit spousal support. When it comes to their two children, they will stick to their previously agreed-upon joint and physical custody arrangement.

The two dancers previously collaborated to open the Pro Dance L.A. studio in 2018. Ownership of the property was given to Samodanova. If their family home is sold, Savchenko will pay his ex-wife a total of (dollar)291,430 (or installments of (dollar)2,800 per month for eight years). The DWTS pro issued a statement to Us Weekly regarding the finalization of his divorce. In his statement, he stated that his primary concern will be the well-being of his children.

“My No. 1 priority right now [is]and always will be my girls, and minimizing the impact of this divorce on them,” Savchenko stated. “Relationships don’t always work out, and this is one of them.” He went on to say, “Elena and I agreed to collaborate in order to leave the marriage gracefully and amicably. As coparents, we pledge to shield our daughters from our disagreements, to promote their connections with one another, and to prioritize their growth and development.” Savchenko and Samodanova confirmed their split in November 2020, as previously reported. They were married for more than a decade before they divorced. The reality star posted a statement on Instagram about their breakup, which said, “It is with great sadness that I inform you that my wife and I are divorcing after 14 years of marriage. We will continue to co-parent our amazing children, whom we adore, and will seek to be the best parents we can be to them.” Samodanova also resorted to social media to express her displeasure with the situation. “After 14 years of marriage with my deepest anguish, our road is coming to an end,” she posted on her Instagram Story beside a wounded heart.
