The long-awaited feature returns in Marvel’s Avengers.

The long-awaited feature returns in Marvel’s Avengers.

On November 30th, Marvel’s Avengers will release a new playable character in Spider-Man as well as a new Klaw Raid titled Discordant Sound, but that’s not all. There will be a comeback of a requested feature that we haven’t seen in the mix in a minute, in addition to a redesign of the Gear system and a new Shipments system (via Square Enix). That is the return of the Cosmetic Vendor, and while some may argue that the Cosmetic Vendor never truly went away, those who have continued to play the game know that the Cosmetic Vendor’s cosmetic items were limited to four a while back so that the developer could update and overhaul the system.

The Cosmetic Vendor, who in the game is Chastity Mcbryde, will now offer a full rotating variety of things, including costumes, emotes, and nameplates, in patch 2.2. The first 16 spaces will have a variety of daily rotating items, while the four Specialty Items slots will be unique.

Each month, over a certain timeframe, this area will feature a single group of products, which will change each week. Costumes that were previously only accessible through special promotions, as well as totally new costumes, can be found in this area.

The Cosmetic Vendor was a wonderful way to get new costumes using Units earned during gaming, so you didn’t have to pay any extra cash. Unfortunately, new clothes or costumes that you didn’t already possess were hard to come by, so they eliminated the majority of the things to rework the system.

This should no longer be the case if the new adjustments hold true, and it will provide players a reason to complete additional missions if they have a cause to visit the in-game marketplace.

The following is the official Marvel’s Avengers description:

“Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are among the classic Super Heroes featured in Marvel’s Avengers. In a cinematic campaign with single-player and co-op missions, this character-driven story honors true Marvel heroism and humanity.” Marvel’s Avengers is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox One X|S, and PC.
