The lineup of authors for the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival has been announced.
Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival, one of the world’s most famous literary festivals, has announced a KILLER line-up of writing talent for this year’s event.
Richard Osman, a comedian and TV host whose cozy mystery The Thursday Murder Club was one of the bestselling novels of 2020, will discuss his eagerly awaited sequel. Mick Herron, whose Slough House series is being shown with Gary Oldman in the lead role; Elly Griffiths, author of Dr Ruth Galloway; Ann Cleeves, Shetland writer; Val McDermid, Queen of Crime; and Cry Baby bestseller Mark Billingham are among the other guests.
From July 22 to 25, the festival returns to Harrogate’s Old Swan Hotel.
The festival’s crime book of the year prize has The Daily Express as a media partner.
