The judging panel shake-up has split Strictly Come Dancing fans.

The judging panel shake-up has split Strictly Come Dancing fans.

Bruno Tonioli is coming from the United States to re-join the judging panel for Strictly Come Dancing’s live tour in 2022, causing a bit of a shake-up.

After it was announced that Bruno Tonioli would take over judging duties from Anton Du Beke for the live tour, Strictly fans were divided.

Bruno was unable to join the judging panel for the current series of the BBC ballroom competition because to Covid limitations, which would have made doing both Strictly and Dancing With The Stars too difficult.

Anton has been filling in and has been a tremendous success with the audience, who appreciate his thoughtful criticism.

Many people now believe he should be able to join Shirley Ballas and Craig Revel Horwood on the road for the 2022 tour.

“Am I the only one who feels Bruno Tonioli’s return to judge the @SCD2021UK stadium tour and replace Anton De Beke is a travesty?” one of the viewers wrote on Twitter.

“Anton’s replacement on the tour, Bruno, is in my opinion, unjust. Bruno opted for DWTS “another person stated.

“Keep Anton all the time now,” one urged, “since Bruno was becoming so boringly predictable.”

Another user said, “PLEASE DON’T BRING BRUNO BACK.” “He just flails around and yells. Anton is a whole lot better. You’re going to ruin it.” “We don’t want him back; we want Anton!” exclaimed someone else.

While they had nothing against Bruno, they stated that they “wouldn’t be sad if Anton’s seat among the judges was permanent.”

“He’s a joy,” the viewer continued, “knowledgeable and kind at the same time.”

Bruno’s homecoming will be the first time he has seen his co-judges since February 2020, when the previous tour came to an end due to the coronavirus outbreak.

While many fans are saddened by Anton’s departure, others are eager to welcome Bruno with open arms.

“I’m missing Bruno,” one Twitter user said, while another asked him to “hurry back Bruno so Anton can go.”

Some speculated that two judges could be accommodated on the panel.

“Whatever happens, @TheAntonDuBeke must remain as a judge if Bruno returns,” one person said.

“With a light sense of humour, this is an intelligent, well-informed critique. Brilliant.” Sign up for one of Brinkwire’s newsletters to receive more of the hottest entertainment news.
