The ITV judge John Barrowman has been fired from Dancing On Ice.
Judge John Barrowman of DANCING ON ICE will not be a judge on the next series of the ITV skating competition.
Dancing On Ice is expected to return in January 2022, but the judging panel will be shaken up this year due to the departure of John Barrowman.
Barrowman generally sits alongside professional skaters Christopher Dean, Jayne Torvill, and Ashely Banjo, but he will have a new role next year.
This website received confirmation from an ITV spokesperson: “We appreciate John Barrowman’s two years on the Dancing on Ice panel, and we’re excited to work with him again as the host of the upcoming All Star Musicals specials.”
Barrowman’s representative added: “John is ecstatic to be working for ITV again as the host of the upcoming All Star Musicals.”
His departure from Dancing On Ice is unrelated to allegations that he “exposed himself” on the set of Doctor Who, according to ITV.
A video from a 2015 Doctor Who convention surfaced in April this year, with actor Noel Clarke alleging Barrowman would “pull his d*** out every five minutes.” “..
Barrowman later admitted to causing “awkwardness” on the sets of Doctor Who and Torchwood to the Daily Mail in July 2021.
He confirmed that he was going to therapy to deal with the trauma of being “cancelled” and that he was putting a “thick black line” beneath his past.
“As Captain Jack Harkness, I was the star of Torchwood, so I felt it was up to me to lead the company and keep them entertained,” Barrowman explained.
He revealed that he would often inform everyone on set days in advance that he would be filming a naked scene, and that flashing was a way of mocking the embarrassment.
“I’d be waiting in my trailer in just a robe with a sock over my ‘parts,’ and if someone came into view while I was waiting to record a scene where I needed to be nude, I’d make a joke to put them and myself at ease.” “Barrowman added his two cents.
“Any possible awkwardness among the cast and crew was simply defused by my behavior.””
Meanwhile, Barrowman’s co-star Banjo stated he would be happy to work with him again.
“I’d like to see him return; the feeling I get from this narrative is that it’s about something tiny and historic that’s been exaggerated.” “The judge made a remark.
