The First Week of Physical Sales Belonged to ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League.’

Whoever said, “It’s the little things that count,” was dead on.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League converts the immensely lackluster 2017 DC film into a global blockbuster with a few adjustments here and there and fewer jokes there.

Following the departure of Zack Snyder from the film’s production, Joss Whedon was brought in to complete the project.

Despite his best efforts, the Avengers director was unable to combine Marvel’s lightheartedness with DC’s cold manner.

It was a flop at the box office. After celebrities and fans banded together to demand #ReleaseTheSnyderCut, the studio released the second installment on HBO Max on March 18th.

Numbers from the first week

For its first week on video, Zack Snyder’s four-hour behemoth Justice League blasted away the disc sales statistics. It outperformed the second-placed horror film, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, by a whopping five-to-one margin.

Aside from the single installment, Snyder’s boxed set trifecta of The Snyder Cut, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Man of Steel also made the top 20 at #14.

According to Comicbook, Blu-ray formats accounted for 75 percent of The Snyder Cut’s first-week unit sales.

The sales of 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs account for a significant 38 percent of the total.

Standard Blu-ray editions accounted for 37% of total sales, while DVD sales accounted for 25%. All three forms are available in traditional brick-and-mortar establishments.

Because the product was so popular, several internet preorders did not arrive until after the film had been released.

Snyder’s Cut of the Justice League

Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) teams up with Amazonian Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) to save the planet from a global menace in this science fiction epic. However, taking our potential recruits out of their comfort zones and forcing them to confront their inner demons is as difficult as it sounds.

Bruce Wayne, being his normal will-driven nature, assures that Superman’s (Henry Cavill) sacrifice was not in vain by uniting the league to confront the enemy as one. Batman (Affleck), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Wonder Woman (Gadot), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg must all work together to push back the evil deity Darkseid and his henchmen, DeSaad and Steppenwolf (Ray Miller).
