Warren Buffett is a tycoon and businessman who is one of the world’s most famous businessmen.

Buffett is obviously brilliant, as a guy who has made millions from his smart investment transactions.

Every year, Buffett gives speeches and interviews with those who want to imitate his performance, where he shares his tips and ideas.

Yet it’s unlikely that many people want to follow his example when it comes to his diet. Buffett revealed in a 2015 interview that he eats a shockingly unhealthy diet – eating habits described by Buffett himself as those of a ‘six-year-old.’

What is known about Warren Buffett?

In 1930, Buffett was born in Nebraska.

He developed an interest in business and investment as a young man, and he attended many top business schools while he was a student, gaining the skills that would ultimately carry him far.

Buffett formed the Buffett Partnership, Ltd. in 1956, after attending the New York Institute of Finance, and then purchased a textile mill called Berkshire Hathaway.

Berkshire Hathaway finally made Buffett a billionaire, and he remains the chairman and CEO of the company to this day. He is one of the richest people in the world, but he is renowned as a philanthropist, considering his remarkable success.

Buffett, along with other billionaires including Bill Gates, has vowed to devote 99 percent of his fortune to philanthropic causes.

Buffett is still involved in the corporate world at the age of 90.

Warren Buffett is living according to some basic rules

Buffett is known for his frugality, considering his immense wealth.

“My life couldn’t be happier. In fact, it would be worse if I had six or eight houses. So I have everything I need to have, and that’s all I need.”

Most famously, every morning, Buffett enjoys a very easy, inexpensive breakfast, reportedly consisting of a sausage, egg and cheese muffin from McDonald’s.

In an extravagant mansion, Buffett does not live as many wealthy people do. In reality, he lives in the same house he’s owned since 1958, a five-bedroom home near the neighborhood where he grew up in downtown Omaha.

Buffett appears to resist technology and allegedly shuns smartphones and computers. He loves exploring his mind instead, preferring to read or play bridge. Buffett often keeps it straightforward when it comes to his normal diet.

As Buffett told Fortune magazine, every day he drinks about five Coca-Colas, multiple ice cream cups, and “eats like a six-year-old.” overall.

There’s an alternative to his diet, though.

“I checked the actuarial tables, and the lowest mortality rate is for 6-year-olds. So I decided to eat like a 6-year-old. That’s the safest way I can go.”

Buffett said in the same interview, “I’m a quarter Coca-Cola. If I eat 2,700 calories a day, a quarter of that is Coca-Cola. I drink at least five 12-ounce servings. I do that every day.” Obviously, the billionaire investment genius insists that his diet keeps him safe and successful, and while it definitely works for him, it is probably not advisable for anyone to follow the diet tips of Buffett-eve.
