More than 15 years have passed since Star Wars: Episode III – Vengeance of the Sith entered theaters and marked the conclusion of the Star Wars movie prequel trilogy.
Although there was a lot of controversy at the time about whether the movie was well received or badly received, it is now received by fans much more positively.
And, of course, the overall story is very interesting, showing the fall of the Jedi and the development of Darth Vader.
That was also the last time Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader were seen as Hayden Christensen.
But he will be back soon for the Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi series in that role. Interestingly, however, his daughter had no idea that he had played such an iconic and villainous role.
The daughter of Hayden Christensen has no idea that he’s an actress, let alone Darth Vader.
Ahsoka Tano has a lot of experience interacting with Mandalorians, working with them and killing them.
Christensen’s ex, Rachel Bilson, spoke in a recent interview with Us Weekly on December 11 about how her daughter doesn’t know what they’re doing for a living.
And he sure doesn’t realize that Christensen is the bad guy to bring an end to all the bad guys.
“Fortunately, she’s not aware that her father is one of the greatest villains of all time,” she said. “When that [time]comes, I don’t know how she’s going to do in school because no one is going to mess with her!”
According to Bustle, Christensen and Bilson, who starred in The O.C., met on the set of her 2007 film, Jumper, and hit it off right away.
Together, they had a girl, Briar Rose, who is about six years old now.
And in 2017, Christensen and Bilson split, but are still co-parenting, and doing pretty well, obviously.
Their baby, however, is not entirely clueless about what they do.
In the past, Bilson said she saw them taking a selfie and knew there were actors on TV. So she’s got a “a tiny idea” of what the actors are, not “totally.”
Christensen will soon take over Vader’s role in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
While her daughter is getting older and at some stage will possibly have stumbled upon Star Wars, she certainly would now.
That’s because in the Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi limited series, Christensen will play Darth Vader once more. It was announced on Dec. 10 and is in development already.
“It’s been such an incredible journey playing Anakin Skywalker,” Christensen said in a press release posted on the official Star Wars website. “Of course, Anakin and Obi-Wan weren’t exactly best friends the last time we saw them. It will be interesting to see what an amazing director like Deborah Chow has in store for all of us. I’m thrilled to be working with Ewan again. It feels good to be back.”
Anakin and Obi-Wan were on Mustafar the last time they faced off, and it ended with Anakin losing his limbs and burning to death on the lava world. Kenobi did not complete his former figure as a Padawan and brother, but went back to meet with Yoda and Senator Organa when Luke and Leia were born to Padmé. Obi-Wan then took care of Tatooine’s Luke Skywalker, which then leads to A New Hope, then known as Ben Kenobi, the desert planet’s hermit.
What will the series be about?
So what’s the series going to be about when Kenobi has only been watching Luke from afar for more than a decade before he becomes a teenager? It will be set 10 years after Vengeance of the Sith and will deal with the Jedi Purge trauma of Kenobi.
Aside from the Ahsoka novel and the Jedi: Fallen Order video game, that’s something Star Wars hasn’t dealt with much in the past. So it should be very emotional, especially considering how much Kenobi’s character is loved by fans.
“Ewan McGregor talked and spoke about the “hunger” there is for the character of Obi-Wan in the announcement video shown to some press and investors on the day of the announcement.
“He said, “Fans have been waiting long enough,” according to Comicbook.com. “I’m closer to the age of [original Obi-Wan actor]Alec Guinness now, more worldly and wiser. [Obi-Wan] has only this one job left: to protect Luke. We start on Tatooine and go on a pretty rollicking adventure.”
The premiere can’t come soon enough.
‘The Mandalorian’ indicates where Season 3 might be heading, back to a “dead” Mandalore.
