The date and timing of the Nintendo Direct may be revealed in September 2021.

In the coming weeks, a NINTENDO DIRECT for September 2021 could air. The next Direct could be broadcast on the following date and time.

Nintendo is rumored to be putting the finishing touches on a Nintendo Direct scheduled for September 2021. Nintendo Switch could be gearing up for another Direct broadcast soon after the E3 2021 Direct in June. And it appears like the next Nintendo Direct will be released in the coming weeks.

Zippo, a well-known leaker, reported in a blog post at the end of August that “multiple” sources had revealed a Nintendo Direct for September 2021 was in the works.

“I’ve been told by various sources that Nintendo is preparing a new general Nintendo Direct for next month,” Zippp stated in the article.

“This will purportedly focus on their remaining lineup for this year and give us sneak peaks towards early 2022 games,” according to reports. I’m not sure what the Direct will cover, but final glances at Metroid Dread, Mario Party Superstars, the last Smash character, and Advance Wars 1+2 are all likely.”

The Nintendo Direct for September 2021 could happen as soon as this week, according to Zippo.

The leaker later noted that the next Direct broadcast was “imminent” in a later update.

If the Direct does not occur this week, it may occur the following week.

And it’s possible that fans have gotten a significant hint as to when the next Nintendo Direct will be.

Monolith Software has announced that their site will be down for maintenance next week, according to a Reddit post.

The Xenoblade creator’s website will be unavailable from 2 p.m. pacific time on September 7 to 3.30 p.m. pacific time.

Downtime begins at 5 p.m. eastern time and 10 p.m. BST for people in other time zones.

However, the Redditor who brought attention to this delay noted that it corresponds to the period when past Directs have broadcast.

Monolith is currently working on Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which could be revealed during the forthcoming Direct.

If that’s the case, the Monolith site’s unavailability makes sense, since it might be updating with information on the forthcoming Xenoblade game.

In terms of what else might be revealed during the upcoming Direct, the final Super Smash Bros Ultimate DLC character appears to be a strong possibility.
