“The Bachelor” star Peter Weber revealed his separation from Kelley Flanagan on Instagram prior to the start of 2021.
Many fans were surprised by the social media post, especially because the couple recently announced plans to move to New York City together. But why did Weber and Flanagan disintegrate? In her latest Instagram message, Flanagan shared a few more specifics about the breakup.

Before the shooting of ‘The Bachelor’ Season 24, Weber and Flanagan’s love story began.
The two met during different activities at a hotel.
Then on the ABC reality series, they met again. The partnership was not meant to be, however. Weber eliminated Flanagan in episode seven during a three-on-one contest with Hannah Ann Sluss and Victoria Fuller.
However, Weber and Flanagan discovered each other – again.
The former reality stars were spotted together in Chicago a few weeks after the March 2020 finale of “The Bachelor,” The gossip mill was naturally bubbling.
Yet they maintained that they were merely friends.
Then, in May, their relationship was confirmed by Weber and Flanagan.
A few months later, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Weber and Flanagan told their fans about their romance.
The “Bachelor Nation” alums explored their plans for the future, including their big move to New York.

Peter Weber says that without ‘The Bachelor’ his relationship with Kelley Flanagan would have existed.
Weber announced his breakup with Flanagan in an Instagram post on Dec. 31, considering their future plans together.
He still has a “special love” for his ex and thanked her for their time together, the former Bachelor suggested.
But he didn’t go into detail, saying he just didn’t work out the relationship.
Weber wrote on New Year’s Eve, “I am here to share that Kelley and I have decided to go our separate ways,” “While our relationship was filled with countless wonderful memories, in the end our relationship just didn’t work out.”
“He continued, “Kelley is someone for whom I will always have a special love. … Those moments in life always hurt, but in my view, it shows that the time spent together was worth it.

In the meantime, E! ‘The Bachelor’: What Peter Weber doesn’t want to confess about his season
Flanagan posted her own breakup comment with “Bachelor Nation.” three days after Weber’s post on Instagram.
“I know many of you have already heard the news, but I wanted to take some time to process it myself before sharing,” Flanagan wrote on Instagram. “It saddens me to say this, but Peter and I have decided to go our separate ways. Peter and I had some incredible times together and they will definitely be missed.”
Flanagan also suggested that the breakup took place, claiming that she and Weber were on separate paths. “Unfortunately, he and I are at two different stages in our lives and saw our future paths differently,” she wrote.
But ultimately, Flanagan’s Instagram post shared the same sentiment as Weber’s, as she wished her ex nothing but the best for the future.
The former contestant also announced that, at some point, she still has plans to move to the Big Apple.
“I wish Peter the very best and want to thank everyone for their continued support as I move on to my next chapter,” Flanagan wrote. “I still hope to make it to New York one day, but for now I just want to focus on my happiness! 2021, I can’t wait to see what you have in store!”
