The †Underratedâ€TM UK staycation destination is just on Devon and Cornwall’s doorstep.

As the coronavirus pandemic made international travel difficult, STAYCATIONS have become more popular. The Travel Beans blog’s travel gurus have revealed a “underrated” staycation spot in Cornwall and Devon.

Alex Collins and Emma Cox, the pair behind Travel Beans, spent the second half of lockdown traveling around the UK in a converted campervan. They’ve been rediscovering Britain and chronicling their adventures on YouTube.

Somerset has been identified as a potential trip location in England by the couple, who updates their Instagram followers.

“I’m a strong champion for Somerset,” Alex stated.

“It’s underappreciated, especially considering it’s the gateway to Devon and Cornwall, which everyone seems to adore.”

Somerset is well-known for a variety of things, including an interesting pagan past.

The Glastonbury Festival is held there every year.

The Cheddar Gorge, as well as the Exmoor attractions, can be visited by visitors.

Bath is famed for its connections to author Jane Austen, and the area is known for Cheddar cheese and cider.

Cornwall and Devon are extremely popular, and their costs reflect this.

Somerset may be a cheaper option for Britons.

The South Downs were also recommended by the couple. “We went to the South Downs, which is near to London,” Alex explained.

“It’s a terrific one to show people because you don’t hear much about it, but it’s so beautiful,” says the author.

“The South Downs was a major surprise,” Emma continued. There was a lot of work to be done.

“There was plenty of outdoor activities, but there were also vineyards, delicious wine, beaches, and castles.”

“We absolutely urge people to try and view where they’re from through the eyes of a tourist,” Emma continued.

“I believe it just expresses gratitude, which is something we are really passionate about and urge others to do.”

The suggestion comes as a waiter explained how Cornwall is struggling to deal with the flood of visitors.

“I have never seen it this busy, it is ridiculous,” Emily Gimblett, a waitress in Newquay, Cornwall, said. The number of employees we have is insufficient to deal with the influx.”

To escape the “busy” Cornwall and Devon, another travel expert suggested a UK staycation option.

Alex Outhwaite, the host of Travelxp’s Off The Grid and Backpack shows on SKY in the UK, has visited nearly 70 countries.

Her hidden UK staycation jewel, according to the travel expert.

“The Yorkshire Wolds,” Alex replied. “Brinkwire Summary News.”
