The actual deal on Anton Du Beke’s judging job, according to a Strictly Come Dancing star.

STRICTLY COME DANCING is poised to return this autumn, with Anton Du Beke joining the judging panel as a fresh member. One Strictly star has spoken out about Anton’s new role in an exclusive interview.

Fans of Strictly Come Dancing are looking forward to the celebrity dancing competition’s comeback this autumn. Anton Du Beke, who used to be one of the professional dancers and teamed up with famous names in the competition, will be exchanging roles on the show. He will, however, be a member of the judging panel this year. Former Strictly Come Dancing star Dr Ranj Singh spoke exclusively to express.co.uk about Anton’s new position.

Anton will replace Bruno Tonioli as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021, the BBC revealed earlier this year.

Past Strictly contestants have congratulated Anton since then, and in an exclusive interview with This website, Dr Ranj, who co-hosted the 2018 show with Janette Manrara, said Anton would be “amazing.”

“Absolutely, he’s going to be fantastic,” Ranj said when asked if he was happy to see Anton join the judging panel.

“I think that role has been waiting for him for a long time, and I think he’ll be fantastic.”

“He’s quite well-liked. I’ve been thoroughly entertained by him. He understands what he’s talking about, and he’s the ideal judge.”

In the sixteenth season, Ranj and Janette – who has since left the main show to co-host It Takes Two with Rylan Clark-Neal – danced a number of dances, however Ranj was the sixth candidate to be eliminated from the competition that year.

He advised future participants to “simply enjoy it” when reflecting on his time on the show.

Anton will replace Bruno on the panel, and will be joined by regular judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Shirley Ballas.

He isn’t the only newcomer to the competition; earlier this year, four more professional dancers were unveiled.

Kai Widdrington, Nikita Kuzmin, Cameron Lombard, and Jowita Przystal will take the place of Anton and Janette.

The celebrity contestant lineup is steadily being disclosed ahead of the show’s September premiere.

The first celebrity to arrive is McFly frontman Tom Fletcher, who expressed his excitement while also admitting to being afraid.

“Until I started, my kids were as eager as I was.”Brinkwire Summary News”.
