Taylor Swift Unveils the First Look Poster for ‘All Too Well,’ Her Short Film Starring Dylan O’Brien and Sadie Sink.

Swifties are one of the most well-fed fandoms, and Taylor Swift is doubling down with the release of Red (Taylor’s Version) this week. Since losing control of the masters to Scooter Braun, Swift has been rerecording her earlier albums and releasing new versions that she owns outright. Fearless (Taylor’s Version) was released on April 9, and Red (Taylor’s Version), which will be released on November 12, is the second installment of the huge project.

All Too Well, a melancholy ballad supposedly chronicling Swift’s relationship with ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal, was one of the album’s fan favorites when it was released in 2012. Swift is also releasing a short film that she directed herself, Red (Taylor’s Version), which includes a long-rumored 10-minute version of the song. Swift, Sadie Sink, and Dylan O’Brien star in the short film, which will premiere on YouTube on November 12 at 7 p.m. ET. To whet fans’ appetites, Swift published a teaser video and poster for the short film.

Taylor Swift (@taylorswift) shared a post.

On Thursday, Swift released the poster on social media, writing: “Rina Yang’s cinematography was used to shoot the film on 35mm film. Plan your viewing party or snuggle up in a ball with your blanket. All Too Well The Short Film will be released on YouTube tomorrow at 7 p.m. Eastern, any way you want to watch it. Although there hasn’t been an official statement concerning the premise of the short film, Swift is known for hiding Easter eggs for her followers. Sink, 19, and O’Brien, 30, are about the same age as Swift and Gyllenhaal were when they first started dating in 2010. The teaser trailer also shows a car travelling through an autumn landscape, a nod to the lyrics “We’re singing in the car, getting lost upstate/ Autumn leaves dropping down like pieces into place” from the song “All Too Well.” Fans have assumed that it will be a creative recounting of Swift and Gyllenhaal’s relationship based on these hints.
