SUSANNA REID has turned to social media to address a “fight” she’s been involved in with her former co-host Piers Morgan.
Susanna Reid, 50, of Good Morning Britain, has resorted to social media to joke about a “fight” between herself and former colleague Piers Morgan, 56. The GMB presenter is up against both the Life Stories host and BBC newsreader Huw Edwards in the nominations for this year’s Television and Radio Industries Club awards, which have been released.

The broadcaster addressed the “fight” between herself and her former co-star in front of her 826,600 followers.
She tweeted above a photo of the outspoken media figure, “Look who’s slugging it out as TRIC Award candidates are released…”
There are 18 TV and radio awards up for grabs this year, with some of the greatest Hollywood names competing for nominations.
The TRIC Awards 2021 will be held on September 15 in a star-studded central London setting, marking the event’s 52nd year.
The event will be attended by over 250 people, and for the first time, spectators will be able to watch the awards online for free.
This year’s red-carpet event will take place behind Trafalgar Square at the exclusive 8 Northumberland Avenue.
Members of the public are asked to vote for their favorite industry stars ahead of the event, with the shortlist featuring the biggest names in show business.
Jodie Comer of Killing Eve, Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly of Saturday Night Takeaway, and Alison Hammond of Loose Women will all be in attendance on the night.
ITV anchors Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid compete for the News Presenter prize this year, while BBC newsreader Huw Edwards is also on the shortlist.
In response to the ITV personalities’ nominations, followers of the hosts took to the comments section to express their opinions on the awards.
“I’d vote for you..you’ve sailed a very heavy ship through a storm in recent months and deserve it..he was plainly the storm!” one wrote. ”
