STEPH MCGOVERN took to social media this week to reveal that she had fallen after slipping on ice earlier in the week, sharing a photo of her injury.

Steph McGovern shared a photo of her bloodied knee after falling on ice on Instagram.

The 39-year-old host of Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch documented her injury’s healing process as the graze turned a vibrant shade of yellow.

I’ve been attempting to be brave, but it’s becoming increasingly difficult.

Steph McGovern is a well-known actress.

The former BBC presenter showed off the painful-looking wound in front of her 63,500 Twitter followers.

Steph shared a photo of her injury on Instagram while at work in the Leeds studio where her show is filmed.

“I slipped on the ice… hit the deck and grazed my knee,” she wrote.

“Ouch,” the celebrity added as a GIF.

Steph rolled up her trouser leg, revealing a nasty-looking graze on her knee, with a pained expression on her face.

As she wore a full-face of glam and a bright pink jumper, the Steph’s Packed Lunch studio could be seen behind her.

The presenter showed a close-up shot of the wound, which was starting to show a large bruise around the knee in the next story.

Steph went on to tell her fans how she got hurt.

“I did it on the way into the gym on Tuesday morning,” she wrote.

“I’ve tried to be brave, but it’s nacking (Boro for pain).”

“It’s turned all yellow from the bruise now as well…” she concluded her message.

Steph had previously stated that despite her injury, she had been able to work out.

The actress shared several videos of herself working out in the gym today, including squats, weights, and a full body circuit.

Miriam Margolyes, who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, made headlines last month when she called the Middlesbrough native “not beautiful.”

Miriam revealed that she prefers to be on stage when talking about her new show Lost in Scotland, and that she considers herself “lucky” to have had so many on-screen roles because she is “not pretty.”

The actress continued by telling Steph that she, too, was not particularly attractive, but that she possessed “something that makes people want to watch” her.

“I have the same,” she said, implying that it was a good thing.

“I think you’re onto something with this, though,” the presenter replied.
