STEPH MCGOVERN has gone to social media to express her delight after a second member of her Steph’s Packed Lunch crew been named to the Strictly Come Dancing 2021 line-up.
Steph McGovern, 39, has taken to social media to express her joy after learning that her Steph’s Packed Lunch co-star Rhys Stephenson has been nominated as the latest celebrity candidate for this year’s edition of Strictly Come Dancing. Steph congratulated Bake Off winner John Whaite yesterday as he was announced as the fourth star in the line-up, and today she rejoiced as co-star Rhys was announced as the fifth celeb in the dance show, which will premiere later this year.

Steph McGovern, a former BBC broadcaster with 414,300 followers, was overjoyed by the news.

Steph shared the news from Strictly’s official Twitter feed.
“Swapping @CBBC mornings for #Strictly Saturday nights,” they wrote.

” The TV personality has hosted CBBC series such as Blue Peter and Saturday Mash-Up! Place2Be, a children’s mental health charity, has chosen her as its ambassador.
Rhys appeared on Steph’s Packed Lunch recently to discuss online safety with the former BBC Breakfast presenter.
Rhys posted on social media about his future debut on the popular BBC dance show, saying, “I am delighted to be a part of Strictly Come Dancing 2021.”
“I’ve always wanted to be on this show, and I’m confident it will exceed all of my expectations.
“I can’t wait to see everything, from the costumes to the orchestra to Craig’s gaze! I’m all set! Steph hurried to Twitter yesterday after learning that her friend and co-star John will be joining the cast.
“YES!!!! John Whaite, our John Whaite!!! ” Steph wrote beside a tweet from the BBC show delivering the news on the microblogging site.
“This year on @bbcstrictly. As a member of the world’s first all-male partnership!
She continued, “I’m very proud of you, honey.”
