Steam has set a date for the open beta of New World.
NEW WORLD is getting a new open beta before its Steam and other PC platforms release date.
When the summer beta of New World was released in July, it was a big success.
In addition, a September 2021 open beta for New World has been confirmed.
Gamers on Steam and other PC platforms will be able to play the game for free, as was the case earlier this year.
The New World open beta will begin on September 9 and will last for a few weeks before the complete game is released on September 28.
More information on the new Steam launch can be found below, including the official New World open beta statement:
“Before we get into the specifics and the announcement, we’d want to thank everyone who took part in our Closed Beta.
“We’re blown away by the positive response, and we’re grateful for all the ways players all across the world have assisted us in getting ready for launch.
“We still have a lot of work to do before we release New World on September 28, and the Closed Beta has been invaluable in terms of testing our servers, helping us find bugs, giving us a lot of constructive feedback, and providing us with a lot of other key learnings to help our team prepare and adjust.
“During Closed Beta, we experienced server troubles as well as overcrowding, which resulted in queue times, preventing some players from experiencing the danger and beauty of Aeternum.
“We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be hosting an Open Beta test to guarantee that everyone has a chance to experience New World ahead of our September 28 launch.
“Steam’s new Playtest function will be used for the Open Beta test, allowing all interested players in our supported regions to seek free entry to the test. North America, Europe, Australia, and South America will all have servers.
“The Open Beta will begin on September 9 at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time (2:00 p.m. UTC) and run until September 12 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (6:59AM UTC). Beginning September 8 at 7:00 a.m. PT, interested players will be able to request access (2:00PM UTC).
New World is one of Amazon’s Studio group’s first significant releases, and it appears to be a hit on Steam and other PC platforms.
