Shark has unveiled the Style iQ Hairdryer, a competitor to Dyson’s Supersonic hairdryer that is also less expensive.
SHARK has unveiled their first hairdryer, which appears to be a direct competitor to Dyson’s Supersonic.
The Style iQ is now available for purchase, and it’s less expensive than Dyson’s top-selling dryer.
They’ve taken a step into the field of personal beauty after becoming famous for their fantastic vacuums.
Shark’s first push into beauty sees them upset the beauty business with their Shark Style IQ Ionic Hair Dryer & Styler HD110UK, which is available to buy now.
Shark.com will sell it for £229, and johnlewis.com will sell it for £229.
Shark has spent the last few years developing the Style IQ, which features a futuristic design that promises to dry hair swiftly and with minimal heat using high-velocity heated ionised air.
The powerful hair drier comes loaded with everything you need for a bouncy blow dry, including three heat settings, three airflow settings, 1600W Wattage, 2.5m cord, and a cool shot.
Because of its innovative design, it adjusts to the heat and airflow depending on the accessories you use, adjusting the temperature and performance depending on whether you use the diffuser, concentrator, or just the diffuser on its own.
As a result, your hair is protected from damage and overheating, resulting in fewer split ends.
With similarities to Dyson’s initial beauty tool, the Supersonic, the StyleIQ is intended to compete with another vacuum turned hoover firm, Dyson.
The Dyson Supersonic costs £299.99, whereas the Shark costs £229, making the Shark £70 cheaper.
Plus, the Dyson Supersonic’s look is strikingly similar, but we’ll be sure to compare them in our upcoming review.
£229 gets you the Shark Style IQ Ionic Hair Dryer & Styler.
Shark.com and johnlewis.com now have the Shark Style iQ Ionic Hair Dryer & Styler HD110UK in stock.
We appreciate that the Shark Style iQ Ionic Hair Dryer & Styler has a creative design that allows you to alter the heat and airflow depending on the accessories you use, allowing you to change the temperature and performance depending on whether you use the diffuser, concentrator, or on its own.
