Season 8 of Fortnite will be released in just a few weeks. The current Battle Pass will last until Sunday, September 12, when another Fortnite event could take place, leading up to the start of Fortnite season 8. And, in the run-up to the big Fortnite release date, one crucial information may have been revealed ahead of time.

The Fortnite 17.50 patch was published today (Tuesday, August 31), marking the penultimate update before the start of Fortnite Season 8.

Dataminers rummaged through the files of Fortnite 17.50 shortly after it was published, looking for any disclosed information.

One of the cosmetics identified by dataminers could be a beginning skin for the Fortnite season 8 Battle Pass.
