Season 6 of Outlander: Diana Gabaldon discusses the heated Claire Fraser and Tom Christie encounter.

Tom Christie will arrive on Fraser’s Ridge in Season 6 of OUTLANDER, and he will have a “intense” confrontation with Claire Fraser.

In season six, as Fraser’s Ridge expands, additional settlers will arrive, one of whom will be an old rival of Jamie Fraser (played by Sam Heughan). Tom Christie (Mark Lewis Jones) is expected to arrive with his son and daughter, where he is expected to fall in love with Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe). While it’s unlikely that he’ll act on his sentiments in the new Outlander book, author Diana Gabaldon has revealed details of a heated confrontation between the two.

Season six of Outlander will not premiere on television until early 2022, so fans will have to wait a long time.

Thankfully, filming on the new show has completed, and Diana has been able to see some of the rushes from the set.

“I saw the first daily with [Tom], which was one where Claire is doing surgery to repair a laceration in his hand and Jamie walks in to watch,” she teased fans.

“It’s a short sequence, but it’s quite intense since there’s blood and stuff.”

Diana went on to say that the series “stayed pretty loyal to the original material,” which is great news for book enthusiasts.

“He’s quite self-contained,” she said of Mark’s portrayal of Tom to The Dipp.

“It’s really fantastic. There are sparks flying in all directions.”

“After seeing that one scene, I tracked him down on Twitter and wrote him a private message,” Diana continued.

“And I told him, ‘Man, you’ve got Tom Christie’s number.’

“Because he did,” says the narrator. You could see he knew who this guy was just from that one scene.”

It comes after people expressed their theories on the subject. It’s possible that Tom and Claire are having an affair.

In the Outlander novels, Tom confesses to killing Claire’s daughter Malva and tells her he loves her (Jessica Reynolds).

Claire goes without saying anything since she knows Tom will be executed for his misdeeds.

Fans, on the other hand, were confident that the series would be unique.

“When I initially read ABOSAA, I had no idea that Tom was growing in love with Claire, until Jamie reveals it in his inner monologue while driving to New Bern,” one fan wrote on Reddit.

“I’m on my second read now, and I’m seeing a lot of subtle signs in Tom’s description.”Brinkwire Summary News”.
