After the terrible fall, Cobra Kai Season 3 addressed the question of Miguel’s fate, but with the fights it also went off the rails. Some characters started to redeem themselves, thanks to their history, Danny and Johnny got invaluable perspectives, and a new partnership was forged.
However, Kreese called someone to ask for his support in the final moments of the last episode, and many fans think that this is a hint that his old friend Terry Silver will appear in season 4 of the series.
But maybe that isn’t the case.
[Spoiler Alert: This article includes spoilers for season 3 of Cobra Kai.]
Who is Silver Terry?
Terry Silver appeared as one of John Kreese’s Vietnam comrades and co-conspirators in The Karate Kid Part III. By creating a ruse, Silver, a wealthy business tycoon who laid the foundation for Cobra Kai, plots revenge against Miyagi and Danny.
He tricks Danny into thinking that Kreese is dead and, when Miyagi refuses, persuades him to train with him for the upcoming All Valley tournament.
Eventually, everything is uncovered, and things culminate in a sudden-death tournament showdown.
But the bad guys are defeated once again and Silver leaves the tournament in a fit of anger and disdain.

The backstory of Kreese revealed a friendship with Silver
“Cobra Kai” season 3 discussed the roots of the villainous actions of Kreese with flashbacks to his time in Vietnam. His unit was captured and forced into snake pit fights to combat each other, and Kreese offered to take the place of his comrade.
While the series led viewers to believe the guy with the ponytail was Silver, it turned out to be the wiggle whose place Kreese took.
Silver vowed to always look out for him – for the rest of his life – after Kreese killed their captain in combat, and their team was saved.
In Karate Kid III, he kept this pledge and many fans believe Silver wants to reappear in Season 4 of Cobra Kai. If Danny and Johnny can team up, why not introduce Kreese to a sinister ally?

“Cobra Kai” co-creators Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald and Hayden Schlossberg recently talked to Entertainment Weekly to discuss the next season’s spoilers and what to expect in Season 4.
They knew that the fans would be excited about the Silver-Kreese connection, which was another nod to the old movies, but they wouldn’t confirm whether that old enemy would turn up in 2021.
“At the end of the season, you saw Kreese make a phone call,” Hurwitz said. You could guess who could have been on the other end of the call from the image he was looking at there.
But we can’t really say how Terry Silver will react to that call – or whoever was on the other end of the line would respond to that call. I think you’ll have to see if that character returns in Season 4,” he teased.
The Season 4 scripts have already been completed and Cobra Kai’s next episode is expected to go into development later this year.
