Season 2 of Outer Banks: Is JJ’s death ‘sealed’ when fans discover a heartbreaking new trailer clue?

The OUTER BANKS season two teaser has been dropped, and it teases some interesting details about what’s to come, including JJ’s possible death.

Netflix’s blockbuster drama series is set to return for a second season very soon. Outer Banks followed a group of adolescents on an island near northern California as they searched for mystery treasures, and fans have noticed a heartbreaking clue about JJ in the teaser.

The first season ended on a dramatic cliffhanger, but based on the teaser, it appears that everything will be alright.

Fans saw John B (Chase Stokes) and Sarah Cameron (Madelyn Cline) flee after he was falsely accused of a murder he didn’t commit.

Rafe Cameron (Drew Starkey) shot and killed Sherriff Susan Peterkin (Adina Porter), but it was his father, Ward Cameron (Charles Esten), who blamed John B to protect his son after seeing the murder.

The two were assumed dead after driving into a storm while fleeing the massive manhunt. They do, however, make a surprise appearance in the season two teaser, confirming their survival.

Kiara Carrera (Madison Bailey), Pope Heyward (Jonathan Daviss), and JJ Maybank (Rudy Pankow) were sighted at the Outer Banks attempting to recover the treasure.

After stumbling across debris, the group of friends was obliged to find the jewels, and it was subsequently discovered that the exciting hunt would lead to the whereabouts of John B’s father, who had vanished nine months before.

“The treasure belongs to the Pogue, we have to find it first,” Pope says in the teaser to JJ and Kiara.

Throughout the series, viewers learn that the town of Outer Banks is divided into two classes: the Pogues and the Kooks. The Pogues reside in a derelict part of town known as the working class’s home, whilst the Kooks are wealthy and have a superiority attitude toward the Pogues.

And Pope, being a pogue, was adamant about reclaiming what was rightfully his community’s.

Kiara was shown crying in the trailer while clutching JJ’s head on her chest, which alarmed onlookers.

The image of JJ’s motionless body being cradled devastated the hearts of people who adored him for his everlasting loyalty and love of adventure. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
