Season 11 of The Walking Dead: Daryl to Kill Negan After Star Drops Huge Hint? ‘Slit his throat,’ says the narrator.
Following a shocking death in the second episode of AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD, season 11 is already upping the ante. However, fresh comments from Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, hint that Negan could be next in line.
With Daryl (Norman Reedus), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), and the rest of the group of survivors finally coming face to face with murderous new adversaries, The Reapers, the 11th and final season of The Walking Dead got off to an action-packed and spine-tingling start. The voyage to the new enemies of the AMC drama wasn’t without its own set of hurdles and action, as Daryl and his companions tried to make out out of the abandoned subway station alive. While Gage (Jackson Pace) was the one who died in the tunnels, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) had done everything he could to make sure it was Maggie.
Now, actor Norman Reedus has thrown a major hint that Daryl may not be as forgiving as Maggie and her gang were when they found Negan had abandoned her for dead.
To recap, Maggie and a small group of her followers from a different camp have reunited with Daryl and Carol (Melissa McBride) and have formed an alliance to return to a safe society.
Maggie, on the other hand, has struggled to accept Negan – the guy who murdered her husband Glenn (Steven Yeun) – as a fully fledged member of the Alexandria group.
Maggie even warned Negan to “keep pushing” her as she put a gun to his head in the season 11 opener after the two argued about the safest and best method to get everyone to safety and out of the subway.
Negan isn’t convinced Maggie will accept him as a member of the group, and he even accuses Maggie of trying to kill him all along.
So, in the last minutes of the TWD season 11 premiere, Negan identified the ideal opportunity to remove Maggie from the picture and keep himself safe from her vengeance.
Each member of the crew had to scramble over an abandoned carriage blocking the tunnel’s entrance out as a swarm of Walkers approached.
Maggie clawed her way up the side of one of the carriages, but Walkers nibbled at her. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
