Season 11 of The Walking Dead: Boss teases doom when Connie reappears in a “horror movie episode.”
Lauren Ridloff will reprise her role as Connie in an upcoming horror-themed episode, according to THE WALKING DEAD showrunner Angela Kang.
The Walking Dead’s 11th season premieres on AMC and Disney+ on Sunday. Connie (played by Lauren Ridloff) will make her much anticipated comeback in a few weeks, and showrunner Angela Kang has promised fans she has something extra special in store once the series picks up steam.
When Lauren Ridloff’s Connie returns in a few weeks, she’ll be in charge of a terrifying episode of The Walking Dead.
At the end of the previous season, the resourceful deaf survivor was last seen surviving the cave collapse and hooking up with mystery stranger Virgil (Kevin Carroll).
Sadly, she was absent from last week’s spectacular season 11 debut, “Acheron: Part I.”
Connie will return in the sixth episode of the new season, titled “On the Inside,” which will debut in September.
Angela Kang, the showrunner, described her comeback as a “little horror movie” in a recent interview with Metro.co.uk.
Her statements have raised red lights among fans, who believe the increasing danger means Ridloff’s time on the show is coming to an end.
“I am very pleased for fans to see Connie’s return to the story,” she stated.
“With her, we got to do a really fun, kind of short horror movie tale, and Greg Nicotero directed it and did a wonderful job.”
Greg Nicotero, the film’s key director and special effects maestro, will return to oversee this installment, so fans can expect plenty of gore when Connie returns to the big screen.
The premise of the episode is unknown, but it will pick up following her chance encounter with Alexandria’s peculiar visitor, Virgil.
“Lauren is fantastic, and Kevin Carroll, who portrays Virgil, is amazing,” Kang concluded.
“So I simply think it’s a great pleasant episode to watch,” she says. I’m looking forward to it.”

When Connie and Virgil’s trip through the woods kicks up again after last year, the chief writer is already promising tremendous things.
Season 11 will keep the series true to its primary principles as the characters mature and new secrets about the secretive Commonwealth are revealed, according to Kang.
“Of course, there are the scares,” she added, “but there are also.”Brinkwire Summary News”.
