ScooTours: The launch date for London’s first ever e-scooter guided tour has been announced.
This weekend, the first ever guided electric scooter tour company in London will open, allowing visitors to experience the sights in an environmentally friendly manner.
Dott is Europe’s premier micro-mobility company, providing riders with off-the-beaten-path tours of quirky and historic buildings in famous city destinations.
E-scooters are available in roughly 20 European nations, including France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Germany, and Poland, according to the Dutch-French e-scooter firm.
Riding the eco-friendly toue route through London will set you back £35, which includes the £10 rental price for the Dott e-scooter, helmet, and high-vis jacket.
To ride a Dott scooter, participants must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
“The Hidden London Tour delivers an interesting, alternate look into London’s history,” a ScooTours spokeswoman said.
“It also creates the ideal environment for learning to ride an e-scooter for the first time. After the trip, you have the option to continue riding your e-scooter and continue exploring!”
The voyage will begin at Circus Place after completing a safety tutorial, and will include stops at the famous Smithfield Market, St. Bride’s Church, St. Bartholomew the Great Church, and the Barbican Centre.
“At Dott, we see e-scooters as a terrific opportunity to help Covid rehabilitation in London,” said Duncan Robertson, general manager of Dott UK.
“We intend to help spark this sector by teaming with ScooTours to bring tourism opportunities to the capital.”
The first official ScooTours trip across the city on Dott e-scooters will take place on Saturday, July 10.
