Ryanair’s CEO tells vaccinated passengers to switch off the NHS tracing app because it’s “complete nonsense.”

Michael O’Leary, the CEO of RYANAIR, has criticised the government’s NHS app, asking consumers to “switch it off.” It comes amid requests for fully vaccinated Britons to have more travel flexibility.

The NHS track and trace app, according to Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary, is “total rubbish,” with more than one million Britons anticipated to self-isolate as a result of being “pinged” by track and trace. The app might generate continual “disruption” for airlines and customers, according to the airline’s CEO.

The travel chief, speaking on Sky News, advocated for fewer restrictions for individuals who are completely vaccinated.

“We don’t need that level of caution when 60% of the adult population has been vaccinated,” he said.

“I’d turn off the app because I don’t believe it has any effect anymore.”

Currently, the track and trace software sends out a “ping” to those who have spent more than 15 minutes in the area of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

“If NHS Test and Trace or the NHS COVID-19 app tells you to self-isolate, do so right away,” the NHS advises.

This phase of self-isolation is expected to last for 10 days starting on the day of interaction with a COVID-19 positive result.

Mr. O’Leary, on the other hand, believes that persons who have been double-jabbed should be exempt from these restrictions.

He explained, “You’re pinging folks, many of them are doubly jabbed.”

“In the United Kingdom, 60% of adults are fully vaccinated.

“We notice some of our cabin workers getting pinged at the airport, especially with the handling businesses.

“It’s extremely difficult to arrive at an airport like Heathrow, Stansted, or Gatwick without coming into contact with someone who may have it.

“There are apps pinging all over the place,” says the narrator.

Instead, Mr. O’Leary stated that the country must “return to some semblance of normalcy.”

He went on to say, “This is the whole folly of zero covid.”

“Every year, people catch the flu. There will be some people who can receive Covid if they are double jabbed, but the number will be small.

“And, as the health secretary shows, they don’t obtain a lethal amount of Covid, don’t end up in the hospital, and aren’t in danger of dying.

“I believe that is the proof war is searching for when we loosen these limits. We’re in desperate need of some common sense.”

The continuous use of face masks on public transportation, according to Mr. O’Leary, is part of this common sense. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
