Rose Ayling-Ellis claims that following her Strictly metamorphosis, her family doesn’t recognize her.
On Strictly Come Dancing, ROSE AYLING-ELLIS looks so different that her own family doesn’t recognize her, she revealed on Sunday’s show.
Following her Salsa on Saturday’s episode, the 26-year-old EastEnders actress received great praise from the Strictly Come Dancing judges, advancing her to next week’s performance. She received a score of 26 while partnered with Giovanni Pernice and learned on Sunday that she had advanced to Movie Week. Rose told Claudia Winkleman that during the first live show last week, her family members didn’t recognize her.
Claudia, the host, remarked, “Let me ask you about your parents and your friends.”
“They’re going ‘where’s Rose?’ because I believe they don’t recognize you.”
“”My brother saw me on TV last week and everyone said ‘that’s Rose,’ and he said ‘no, that’s not Rose,'” Rose answered.
“He was all ‘no’ until my name was shouted out. I had a completely different appearance.” “Thank you so much,” Claudia wrote, “we can’t wait to see you do a fantastic Foxtrot next week.”
Since last year, Rose has played Frankie Lewis, Mick Carter’s (Danny Dyer) daughter, in EastEnders.
She is the first deaf participant to be on both EastEnders and Strictly Come Dancing, and she has already made show history.
She grew overwhelmed after seeing a video message from her pals following her tragic Salsa over the weekend.
Claudia told viewers that being on the dancing competition had forced her to miss the wedding of one of her friends.
Rose’s friends Russell and Camilla delivered a unique video greeting to the presenter.
The pair conveyed a loving message to Rose using British Sign Language (BSL).
“I just wanted to congratulate you on your Salsa performance tonight. You’re fantastic!” Russell stated his opinion.
Camilla continued: “We are so proud of you and adore you. I’m looking forward to seeing you again soon.” After witnessing her friends, an emotional Rose had to hold back tears.
“I don’t want to make you upset,” Claudia said, echoing Rose’s sentiments: “That was a wonderful surprise.
“I adore them both so much.” “I know,” Claudia said. They adore you just as much as you adore them.” On Saturday of next week, during Movie Week, Rose will be doing a slower Foxtrot on the dance floor.
Rose expressed her gratitude for making it through another week.
“I’m really looking forward to doing the Foxtrot,” she told Claudia.
