Rick returns in the season 11 finale commercial, fueling rumors of a comeback.

When Rick Grimes, the show’s captain, left the AMC network in 2018, viewers were saddened. The most recent promo trailer for the last season, however, teased the return of the famous character in season 11.

AMC viewers were disappointed with the hero’s dramatic departure from The Walking Dead after his startling departure in season nine. However, Andrew Lincoln’s character was heard making one of his most famous statements in the trailer for the 11th and final season, hinting at his return.

Since its premiere in 2010, The Walking Dead, based on the Robert Kirkman comic book series of the same name, has dominated television screens.

Many fans were left wondering what the future held for the series’ most popular characters when it was announced that the upcoming 11th season, expected in 2022, would be the series’ final season.

Rick Grimes, the show’s previous leader and tortured protagonist, died unexpectedly in season nine, and actor Lincoln has left a lasting impression on the series.

Despite the fact that his friends and family believe he is dead, the current trailer implies that the character may make a surprise return in the final season.

Many departed personalities were shown in a sad sequence in the recently released trailer, which took a trip down memory lane.

In the video, Rick gives one of his famous speeches, telling his family, “How we live.” How we pass away. Who we are and what we are willing to do. We, not I, are the reason we’re still alive.

“We stick together,” says the group. I’m confident we’ll be fine. Because this is how we keep ourselves alive. We convince ourselves that we are the undead.”

Even though Rick is considered dead by everyone he knew, his presence and what he taught the zombie-killing gang can still be felt in the series.

Is the trailer implying that the former sheriff will return before the season concludes?

After all, having the show’s former protagonist take center stage in what would be the drama’s final ever promo seems a bit loaded.

“No matter what we’ve faced or who we’ve lost,” each of the current cast members can be heard saying in a voiceover by some of The Walking Dead’s most renowned and beloved characters. Regardless of where we’ve been or where we’re headed.

“It doesn’t matter. We’re going to finish together.”

However, the character montage comes to a conclusion with. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
