Release date for New World on PS4, PS5, and Xbox: Amazon has released a new update regarding the console port.

Owners of the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One have been given a blow this week, as Amazon Games reveals more about its future intentions.

New World, an Amazon multiplayer game, debuted to much fanfare earlier this week.

The massively multiplayer adventure game is set on a magical island inhabited by terrifying monsters.

Following a few of high-profile disappointments, New World appears to be Amazon’s first big hit.

New World had approximately 735,000 concurrent users on Steam at the time of writing, making it the platform’s second most popular game.

Fans are clamoring for the game to be released on other platforms, such as the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

Unfortunately, the New World developer has ruled out a console release for the time being, in response to concerns on Twitter.

“New World will be playable only on PC for the foreseeable future,” the New World developer announced in response to inquiries about console and Steam Deck support.

The good news is that the developer hasn’t ruled out a console release in the future, but don’t hold your breath.

In the interim, fans may get the PC version of New World on Amazon and Steam for £34.99.

The Standard Edition just gives players access to the core game, whilst the Deluxe Edition includes a variety of extra things.

The Mastiff house pet, the Rock/Paper/Scissors emote set, and a digital art book are all included, as well as the Woodsman armour and hatchet skins.

Even better, Amazon Prime members will get a constant supply of additional products each month.

The Pirate Pack, which includes the Swashbuckler Skin, the Pirate Stance emote, and 5,000 Marks of Fortune, is presently available to Amazon Prime members.

On October 12, a second Pirate Pack will be released, followed by two Robinhood Packs in late October/early November.

The official description states, “Explore an exciting, open-world MMO full of peril and chance where you’ll construct a new career for yourself as an adventurer stranded on the mysterious island of Aeternum.”

“In the island’s forests and ruins, you’ll find endless possibilities to fight, forage, and forge.

“In a classless, real-time combat system, channel supernatural energies or wield deadly weapons, and fight alone, with a small team, or in massed armies for PvE and PvP battles—the options are yours.” Brinkwire Summary News “..
