Priscilla shares Elvis Presley’s endearing nicknames for her and Lisa Marie.

Elvis Presley’s former wife shared his endearing nicknames for Priscilla Presley and Lisa Marie Presley.

From 1967 to 1973, Elvis Presley was married to Priscilla Presley, with whom he had one kid, Lisa Marie. Every now and then, his ex-wife reveals details about The King’s personal life that aren’t well known. She also shared his endearing nicknames for his wife and daughter just a few years ago.

“Did Elvis ever call you and Lisa Marie by other names?” Priscilla was asked on her own Facebook page. Nicknames?”

“He would call me ‘Little One’ and her ‘Yittle,’” The King’s former wife revealed.

Priscilla explained how the couple came up with Lisa Marie’s name while in bed upstairs at Graceland in another Q&A.

“I got a book of baby names for Elvis and me to choose from,” she revealed.

“We would lay in bed night after night looking over all the names that might sound well together,” Priscilla added.

“We thought that Lisa Marie was a lovely young lady…

She didn’t get her name from anyone.”

While it turns out that if Lisa had been a boy, she and Elvis had a masculine name in mind.

“I loved the name John Baron for a boy…he agreed,” the now 76-year-old stated.

Priscilla has also disputed a rumor about Lisa Marie’s name’s inspiration.

“From what I’ve heard, we may have taken the name Marie after Col. Parker, his manager’s wife, who was named Marie,” she explained. That isn’t correct. We simply liked the sound of those two names together.”

Meanwhile, Priscilla recently talked at Elvis Week 2021, when she shared her thoughts on Baz Luhrmann’s planned 2022 biopic The King.

“To be honest with you…,” Priscilla told a throng of Elvis followers and others viewing online at Graceland. I’m not familiar with what’s going on with that film.”

“Baz came to my house a couple of times,” Priscilla added. He promised to email me the script once he returned to Australia and finished it. I still haven’t got it, which makes me concerned.

“I’m a little apprehensive because Baz can be…

He’s a little off the beaten path. So I’m not sure what he intends to do.”

The 76-year-old acknowledged that the film director had produced some outstanding work. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
