Princess Eugenie’s redecorating of Frogmore Cottage is devoid of color.
After Prince Harry and Meghan relocated permanently to America in March 2020, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank moved to FROGMORE COTTAGE.
The Sussexes moved into Frogmore Cottage, which is just a few minutes from Windsor Castle, in April 2019, right before their son Archie was born in May. During their time at Frogmore, the couple famously restored the royal residence, planning to use it as their UK home whenever they came to visit.
However, it was then revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan donated Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank Frogmore Cottage to use as their residence until the birth of their first child, August, in February 2021.
“Frogmore Cottage continues to be the Sussexes’ residence in the UK, and they are delighted to be able to open up their home to Princess Eugenie and Jack as they start their own family,” a royal insider told The Sun. Frogmore Cottage is located directly in front of Frogmore House, with a beautiful lake in front of it.
It is a Grade-II listed building with a long royal history, but before Prince Harry and Meghan moved in, it was not so grand.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex oversaw the extensive refurbishment of the five-bedroom property.
For their Windsor home, the couple was given a series of artworks from the Queen’s personal collection.
A Palace insider told Vanity Fair, “Meghan and Harry were informed they can choose some artwork for Frogmore Cottage.”
Frogmore Cottage is now home to Princess Eugenie, Jack Brooksbank, and their baby August.
Princess Eugenie has published numerous images of the cottage on her Instagram account since the pair moved there, offering royal fans a taste of how the couple has decorated.
Eugenie and Jack have chosen a moderate color theme with natural and boho elements throughout the images.
This architecture is very similar to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Montecito property.
Eugenie shared a video of August playing on Instagram in June.
This allowed royal watchers to have their first sight into Frogmore Cottage’s kitchen.
Despite the fact that the video was only a few seconds long, the elegant oak floors and kitchen cabinets appeared to be traditional with a lovely modern touch.
Their living room has a tone palette as well, with a white sofa and off-white walls.
