In her biography, Princess Diana reveals that she was “obsessed” with Camilla Parker Bowles.
Diana’s honeymoon with Prince Charles was ultimately ruined because Camilla was everything she could think about. During their “every night” holiday, she also had visions of her husband’s mistress “romantic”
Princess Diana knew that, before her wedding, Prince Charles was in love with Camilla Parker Bowles
Diana suspected he was in love with someone else before she married Prince Charles. She had overheard her future husband tell Camilla that he would always love her (via a phone call).
In her biography, entitled “We always had discussions about Camilla,” Diana revealed, “Her True story In Her Own Words.” “Once I heard him say on the phone in his bathroom on his handset, ‘Whatever happens, I will always love you.’ I told him afterward that I had been listening at the door, and we had a dirty fight.”
Not only did he confess to Camilla his love with words, but he also showered her in front of Diana with presents. He gave her a bracelet with their nicknames etched. He gave a bouquet of flowers to Camilla as well. Two weeks before his wedding to Diana, he did all this.
Prince Charles is “disappointed” that Camilla Parker Bowles will never become queen of Royal Expert’s arguments.
And, according to Diana, she became ‘obsessed’ with Camilla’s feelings.
She kept looking around for Charles’ beloved, even as she walked down the aisle to her wedding.
“As I walked up the aisle, I was looking for her (Camilla). I knew she was in there, of course. I looked for her.”
But Diana was still very much in love with her groom, despite her (justified) jealousy.
She admitted, “I remember being so in love with my husband that I couldn’t take my eyes off him,”
During her honeymoon with Prince Charles, Princess Diana had recurring visions of Camilla Parker Bowles
Diana characterized her honeymoon in her biography as “somber.” She never had a single moment alone with her new husband, according to the princess.
They still had to entertain people, which she found “very difficult to accept.”
And, unfortunately, she spent the rest of her honeymoon sobbing. She confesses in her tell-all novel, “I remember crying my eyes out on our honeymoon,” “I was so tired for all the wrong reasons.”
Her nighttime dreams clearly weren’t helping either. “My dreams were horrible,” she said. “At night, I dreamed about Camilla all the time.”
She said, “I was totally obsessed with Camilla,” “I didn’t trust him (her husband) and thought he was calling her every five minutes asking how to handle his marriage.”
During their marriage, Prince Charles never helped Princess Diana.
Prince Charles was never supportive of her, according to Diana (although he was incredibly supportive of Camilla).
“Prince Charles was not supportive at all,” she said. “Whenever he called me, he said, ‘Poor Camilla Parker Bowles. I had her on the phone tonight, and she said there’s a lot of press in Bolehyde. She’s going through a hard time.'”
Meanwhile, because of the news, Diana was unhappy, but she felt she could not even talk about it with her husband.
“I never complained to him about the press because I didn’t think it was my position to do that,”I never complained to him about the press because I felt it wasn’t my position to do that. ‘I asked him,’ How many people are there in the press?’ and he replied,’ At least four of them.’ I thought,’ My God, there are 34!’ and I never informed him.’
