Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch OLED are now available on Amazon UK.
Pre-orders for the NINTENDO SWITCH OLED have gone live on Amazon UK, with the white and neon red / neon blue consoles available today.
The Nintendo Switch OLED console is now available for pre-order on Amazon UK. The Nintendo Switch OLED is the most recent iteration of Nintendo’s popular hybrid system. It will be available for £309.99 and will be released in a few months on October 8, 2021.
The Switch OLED’s main selling point is a sleek new seven-inch OLED screen, which will make images in handheld mode look considerably crisper, as the name suggests.
If you primarily use the Switch for handheld gaming, this is the best option.
Aside from that, the Switch OLED console has 64GB of internal memory, better acoustics, and a wide adjustable stand.
If you’d prefer connect your console to the internet through wired LAN, the Switch Pro also comes with a new dock featuring a wired LAN port.
It’s been rumored for a long time that Nintendo would release a mid-generation upgrade for the Switch, which was originally dubbed the Switch Pro.
The Switch Pro was expected to include a beefier graphics chip and support 4K gaming in docked mode.
The Switch OLED, on the other hand, lacks these features, as it does not come with extra RAM or a new CPU when compared to other Switch versions.
It’s unclear whether these capabilities will be included in a future Switch edition.
Nintendo has said the following about the Switch OLED, which will be released in October: “A new member of the Nintendo Switch family is on the way.
“Featuring a beautiful 7-inch OLED screen with vivid colors, this game is designed to be played at home or on the move.
“The Nintendo Switch (OLED model) will be available on My Nintendo Store on October 8th for £309.99, allowing players another way to enjoy Nintendo Switch’s extensive library of games.”
