As new evidence emerges, masked singer Poodle’s true identity is ‘exposed’ by a TikTok star.
EXCLUSIVE: TikTok star Matthew Seaman has discovered clues that point to Tom Chaplin of Keane being the man behind the wacky Poodle costume on The Masked Singer UK.
By deciphering new clues, a TikTok celebrity claims to have figured out who is Poodle on The Masked Singer.
Matthew Seaman believes the colorful costume belongs to Keane singer Tom Chaplin.
We can reveal that Poodle said, “I’ve been on long walkies,” which is a clue he has now spotted.
It’s possible that this is due to the fact that Keane’s famous song Somewhere Only We Know is about a long walk.
Tom has a dog as a pet, and he was once in a music video with a lot of puppies, as Matthew has discovered.
Another hint is that Poodle sang Rocketman on last weekend’s show, which could indicate that Tom and Sir Elton John are friends.
“I am confident that Poodle is Tom Chaplin,” Matthew told Brinkwire.
ITV is clearly hoping we’ll mistake Paul O’Grady or John Barrowman for them.
But there are already so many specific connections to Chaplin and Keane in week one.
“I’d like to pursue it to see if we can connect the dots every week.”
But, at this point, I’d say I’m 90% sure it’s him.”
Poodle could also be Take That’s Gary Barlow, according to fans.
During last year’s series, Matthew made headlines when he released a series of videos claiming Sausage was singer Joss Stone.
When she was finally unmasked and crowned winner during the final, it was confirmed that he was correct.
Matthew is hoping that his excellent detective skills will not detract from the viewer’s enjoyment.
“It’s just a fun guessing game,” he explained.
Now is the time for a little fun and entertainment for everyone.
Never would I try to give anything away about the show.
“I’m just a fan,” she says.
Davina McCall, the show’s star, has admitted that the game is more difficult than ever this season because the producers have increased the difficulty of the clues.
“I go to bed every night thinking about the clues and the voices,” she told the Brinkwire Sunday.
It repeats itself in my mind.
“Then you write down all the names you’ve come up with the next day, and then one of the contestants starts singing, and you have to cross them out.”
‘I have no idea why I was guessing that person!’ you think.
“I’m always taking the wrong path.”
This series, we really struggled with the guesses.”
The Masked Singer UK continues on ITV on Saturday night.
