PlayStation Network server status for PS4 and PS5 consoles is currently unavailable.
Some PlayStation consoles are currently experiencing an outage that affects all PlayStation Network core functions, making PSN services unavailable to some gamers.
Thousands of reports are flooding in tonight that the PSN is down and vital services aren’t functioning properly.
Affected gamers began sharing their problems at around 8 p.m. BST on August 30 and are still doing so on August 31.
“Was anyone else on warzone or Cold War when this happened?” one player confirmed after being ejected from a live game. It basically kicked me out of a rebirth game with 15 kills.”
Most people who were affected tonight appear to be unable to sign into their PSN accounts or play games online.
It’s unknown what triggered tonight’s outage or how long it will last on the PlayStation Network.
The PSN Server Status page reveals that all services on all major PlayStation systems are down.
“You might have trouble launching games, apps, or network features,” the PlayStation support team writes. We’re working hard to get to the bottom of the problem as soon as possible. Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your patience.
