Peter Wright, a Yorkshire vet, talks about his “biggest concern” about surgical preparation.

In a recent episode of the Channel 5 programme, THE YORKSHIRE VET actor Peter Wright revealed a “serious fear” he had while prepping for surgery.

The Yorkshire Vet is a Channel 5 documentary series that follows North Yorkshire veterinarians Peter Wright and Julian Norton as they care for animals in need at their practices.

Peter, who has been a regular on the show since 2015, has swiftly established himself as a fan favorite. In a recent episode of the reality show, the 64-year-old ran into a difficulty while looking for a pair of oversized scrubs to wear before surgery.

As he browsed through a number of drawers in his practice, the veterinarian appeared perplexed.

“That’s not large,” he said, pulling a blue shirt from a drawer labeled “large scrub tops.”

“I’m looking for a big top,” he continued. I believe they’ve all shrunk in the washing machine.”

“Oh, that’s a small,” a disappointed Peter exclaimed just as he thought he had discovered what he was looking for.

He said, “This is a significant concern,” as he became concerned about what he would wear during surgery.

“It’s not a minor thing, is it?” “Do you want me to find you one?” he asked his colleague, who answered, “Do you want me to find you one?”

“I don’t think I’m that out of the ordinary,” he said. Could it be that I am?

“I have the impression that I am a tad large. I’ll have to talk to Linda (his wife) about my eating habits.”

Despite Peter’s initial concerns, one of his coworkers rushed to his aid with a brand new grey scrub top.

“Take a look at that,” the vet said as he raised it in the air. “This one hasn’t shrunk after being washed. This is fantastic.”

Peter exclaimed, as he popped the top over his head, “Perfect.” These tops don’t hold up well in the wash.

“It makes me feel really good, and it’s a little on the big side.”

Peter was startled when he was brought a bulldog named Little Boss who had attempted to have sex with a hedgehog earlier in the episode.
