NCIS actor Pauley Perrette has sent Kathy Griffin a poignant note following the comedian’s announcement that she will be undergoing surgery as a result of a cancer diagnosis.
Kathy Griffin, the iconic comedian and performer, said the treatment was successful in a recent Instagram post on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pauley Perrette, who played Abby Sciuto on the CBS drama NCIS for 15 seasons, recently came to Twitter to express her support.

Perrette took to Twitter the following Tuesday, amid the outpouring of well wishes from her admirers, with a sweet message for her Hollywood buddy.

Perrette also uploaded a photo from her appearance with Kunal Nayyar and Jaime Pressly on Kathy Griffin’s self-titled talk show.
Several of the actress’s Twitter fans added their thoughts and prayers to her message of support in the comments section.

Fortunately, the comic stated that her doctors are positive about the treatment and that she hopes to be ‘up and running’ in about a month.
