Patch notes for the Warzone update: The long-awaited download is now available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Following initial download issues, CALL OF DUTY WARZONE’s delayed update has been re-released.

On the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC, Call of Duty Warzone has received a new update.

It’s actually a re-release of an older patch that was meant to go live on June 30.

Unfortunately, there were problems with the Call of Duty Warzone upgrade, which resulted in its removal.

Raven Software explained, “Due to a continuing issue with this morning’s update, we have decided to roll back the update while we work on a resolution.”

“As soon as the issue is rectified and the update is resumed, we will update.”

Raven announced the Warzone upgrade is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in a follow-up statement earlier today.

The recoil pattern of the XM4 has been softened in the Warzone update, which is an interesting new addition.

“An update for Warzone has been (re)released into the wild!” Raven is still going strong. “We appreciate your patience as we worked to remedy the situation.

“XM4 (BOCW) – Recoil pattern smoothed,” we slipped in another weapon change/note.

Below are the remaining Call of Duty Warzone patch notes.

• C58 is an acronym for (BOCW)

The amount of recoil has risen marginally.

• FARA No. 83 (BOCW)

The amount of recoil has risen marginally.

• XM4 is a four-letter acronym for (BOCW)

Recoil pattern has been improved.

• Gun for nailing (BOCW)

The maximum damage range has shrunk by 39%.

“The BOCW Nail Gun is and was designed to be a devastating, mobile, short-range dominator. Its Maximum Damage range, on the other hand, significantly outstripped the fatal range of Shotguns, which it was designed to counter.

“The Nail Gun’s (BOCW) generous range and mobility allowed it to consistently dispatch foes at the same speed or faster than Shotguns at almost twice their effective range. While the pick rate for the Nail Gun (BOCW) has stayed low, we believe it would have been significantly higher if it had been more freely accessible.”

• Ranger (excluding AK-47 (BOCW) and XM4 (BOCW) assault rifles)

Vertical Recoil Control has been reduced from 15% to 10%.

• Takedown (excluding AK-47 (BOCW) and XM4 (BOCW) assault rifles)

Horizontal Recoil Control has been reduced from 15% to 10%.

• Heavy / Match Grade / VDV Reinforced Reinforced Reinforced Reinforced Reinforced Reinforced Reinforced Reinforced Reinforced Reinforce (Assault Rifles, Light Machine Guns)

Vertical Recoil Control has been reduced from 7.5 percent to 5%.

Horizontal Recoil Control has been reduced from 7.5 percent to 5%.

• CMV Mil-Spec / Task Force / Spetsnaz RPK (Assault Rifles, Light Machine Guns)
