On the day of the premiere, Hawkeye star Jolt the Dog celebrates his birthday.

Hawkeye’s first two episodes have finally arrived on Disney(plus), and one of the show’s main characters is rejoicing in the best possible way.

Jolt the Dog is having a party and scarfing down some cake while Hailee Steinfeld and Jeremy Renner are still wrapping up some press appearances ahead of Thanksgiving.

It is, after all, the four-year-old puppy’s birthday.

Jolt’s handlers posted a pair of photos to Instagram on Wednesday, celebrating both the release of Hawkeye and his birthday at the same time.

Jolt, the dog who plays Lucky the Pizza Dog in the series, is seen carrying a purple bow in his mouth in one image.

In another, he’s about to pounce on a pizza-shaped cake.

Take a look at both of the images below.

Jolt (@jolt.of.genius) shared a post.

Rhys Thoams, the director of Hawkeye, previously praised Jolt’s work on the show, calling him a consummate professional.

“His real name is Jolt.”

Simply put, he is a consummate professional.

He joked with Variety, “It’s a little easier to be honest with you than some of these folks.”

“Actually, I was fortunate.”

While Lucky is by far the most popular character in the series, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has stated that the series will primarily focus on Clint Barton’s (Jeremy Renner) time as an Avenger.

During the show’s press conference earlier this year, Feige said, “There are moments within all of Jeremy’s appearances where you see this mentor under the surface.”

“Underneath the surface, this reluctant hero, this reluctant mentor.

Clint and Wanda’s scene in Sokovia is one of my favorite scenes in all of our films.

‘When you walk out that door, you’re an Avenger,’ he basically says, motivating her to join the fight.

And that was the seed of how we could tie Clint Barton’s MCU incarnation into Matt Fraction’s Matt Fraction storyline with Kate Bishop.”

Disney(plus) is now streaming the first two episodes of Hawkeye.
