On Supersized SmackDown, WWE’s The Usos Retain Tag Team Titles.
During tonight’s supersized SmackDown, the SmackDown Tag Team Championships were on the line, and both The Usos and The Street Profits got their foot on the throttle from the time the bell rang. They were flying all over the place, and both teams appeared to be in command at various periods early on. The Usos appeared to seize control when they brought in the Kendo sticks and whacked Dawkins in the back with them in the center of the ring. They then hit Dawkins with the Kendo Sticks at the same moment and continued to beat him down with the Sticks, until Ford rescued the day.
Ford ran to the top rope and hit both Jimmy and Jey with a Crossbody, followed by heavy kicks and slaps on Jimmy. He then grabbed a chair and kicked Jimmy in the face. Jimmy kicked out despite the pin being close. The Street Profits returned the favor by laying out Jey with the Kendo Sticks and setting up a double team on Dawkins, but Jimmy rescued the day and allowed them to hit double superkicks on him. The subsequent pin would be kicked out by Dawkins.
The Usos raced to the top ropes, but Ford shoved Jey into the announce table and kicked IJimmy in the face, setting up Ford for a major splash and a pin attempt. However, Jey saved Jimmy and slammed Ford through a table. Dawkins began punching Jey and Jimmy with a barrage of blows, then attempted to roll him up but was shoved into a superkick. The Usos then hit a double Superkick on Dawkins, setting up a double team splash, and that was the end of the match. The Usos are still in charge.
