On her wedding day, Lisa Armstrong loves Ant McPartlin’s “poor weather” tweet.
LISA ARMSTRONG took a sneaky dig at her ex-husband Ant McPartlin today, liking a post about the terrible weather as he walked down the aisle in Hampshire on social media.
On the day of her ex-husband Ant McPartlin’s wedding, Lisa Armstrong, 44, threw a subtle dig at him. 15 months after his divorce from the Strictly make-up artist, the popular ITV presenter married his personal assistant in a star-studded ceremony in Hampshire today.
Ant and Lisa were childhood sweethearts who divorced in January of this year.
Later that summer, he stated he’d fallen in love with Lisa’s close friend, PA Anne-Marie Corbett.
After a long court struggle, the former couple’s £31 million divorce was finalized in April 2020, including possession of their pet dog Hurley.
Following their breakup, Lisa liked a fan’s tweet that said, “Terrible weather in Hampshire today.”
Ant married in a church in the lovely Hampshire village of Heckfield in front of 100 guests.
Outside the church, he kissed his lovely bride in front of the crowd.
Meanwhile, Lisa has gone on a romantic getaway with her partner in a five-star hotel.
The 44-year-old and her 38-year-old beau James Green checked at the five-star Pale Hall Hotel on the outskirts of Snowdonia, Wales.
“Well, if that was good enough for Queen Victoria, it’s a yes from me!!!” she captioned a photo of their bed.
When it was a private estate, Winston Churchill lived there as well. It is presently one of the best country home hotels in the country.
Last year, Lisa, a strict make-up artist, created her own make-up line with Avon, which was met with critical acclaim.
Last August, her on-again, off-again relationship with electrician James was made public.
Last week, the pair was photographed together while on a staycation due to Covid travel limitations.
Celebrities who attended Ant’s wedding included Dec Donnelly, Phillip Schofield, David Walliams, and Alesha Dixon.
Ant’s celebrity pal Amanda Holden, on the other hand, was absent from the festivities.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge expressed regret and announced she will be unable to attend Ant’s wedding this weekend.
The reality star had been invited to the opulent event in Hampshire this weekend, but she was unable to travel back in time due to her family’s vacation.
“So sad we will miss @antanddec special day,” she posted on Instagram.
“We haven’t returned yet.
